To do its job, Focusline processes the following data locally on your device while a focus session is active:
None of this is ever transmitted to Focusline, any third party, or any external server. It exists only in your browser's local storage.
Focusline uses a 45MB language model that runs entirely on your device. It is downloaded once and cached locally. No page content, no URLs, and no embeddings are ever sent to any server. The model scores your tabs offline, in your browser, with no internet connection required.
Focusline does not share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third party under any circumstances.
The only optional third-party interaction is the Pro waitlist form, hosted by Tally. If you choose to join the waitlist, any information you voluntarily provide is governed by Tally's own privacy policy. Focusline does not receive or store this information.
All data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API. You can clear it at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's extension storage. Once deleted, it's gone. Focusline has no copy, no backup, no way to recover it.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date at the top.
